Silverstone
Ref. 110.313 R
Year: 1974-80
Movement: Cal. 11 - 19.800 A/h
This red Silverstone is in mint condition and has just been refurbished by TAG Heuer in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. It has had new pushers, crown, crystal, a relume on hands and dial and of an overhaul of the movement. It even has a perfect original Heuer bracelet.
The red colour is not as famous as the blue, but it looks very nice and has great presence on your wrist. Also the size of 42 mm by 44 mm and the square layout makes the watch looks impressive on the wrist.
It has a Cal. 11 movement which is strange as the Silverstone was presumable only made with Cal. 12. I have asked the factory and fellow Heuer collectors to comment on this, but have not found an explanation. Jasper from www.classicheuer.de has a Silverstone with Cal. 11 for sale so this is not the only one!
